Application:

This product is a methylhydroxyglutaryl-CoA (HMG-COA) reductase inhibitor that inhibits the synthesis of endogenous cholesterol and serves as a blood lipid regulator. Literature data shows that it has the effect of reducing the levels of cholesterol (TC) in the serum, liver, and aorta of rabbits with hyperlipidemia, as well as lowering the levels of very low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (VLDL-C) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C).

SIMVASTATIN reductase inhibitors can reduce the concentration of total cholesterol in serum and inhibit cholesterol synthesis.
