Application:

  Octylamine is used as an intermediate for synthesizing pharmaceuticals and liquid crystal materials, as well as for synthesizing other fine products. Octylamine can be used to produce N-octylpyrrolidone (a solvent for agricultural chemicals and organic pigments), as an additive for corrosion inhibitors, lubricants, biocides, and surfactants
