Product Introduction and Application:
     
Benzonase nuclease is a genetically engineered endonuclease derived from Serratia marcescens, with a molecular weight of 26kD and CAS accession number 9025-65-4 [4-5]. This enzyme can efficiently degrade all forms of DNA and RNA (including single stranded, double stranded, linear, and circular) in the presence of Mg ²+, producing 3-5 base length 5 '- monophosphate oligonucleotides that comply with FDA nucleic acid contamination treatment regulations. The optimal reaction conditions are pH 6-10, temperature 35-44 ℃, activity of 1 × 10 ⁶ U/mg protein, and tolerance to denaturing agents such as 4M urea.
     Benzonase nuclease is used in the purification of recombinant proteins, preparation of inclusion systems, and removal of host cell DNA in vaccine production by reducing sample viscosity and improving centrifugal separation efficiency when combined with lysates such as BacReady Protein Extraction Solution. The enzyme also plays a key role in experiments such as nucleoprotein extraction, 2D gel electrophoresis and Western Blot, and can be inactivated through EDTA reversible inhibition or NaOH/high temperature treatment [6] [8]. The product specifications range from 25KU to 10000KU and need to be stored in the dark at -20 ℃.
