Application:
Remdesivir (GS-5734) is a nucleoside analogue with antiviral activity. In HAE cells, it has an EC50 value of 74 nM against SARS CoV and MERS CoV, and in delayed brain tumor cells, it has an EC50 value of 30 nM against murine hepatitis virus.
| Usage | A prodrug metabolized intracellularly to the active triphosphate form (GS-443902). It inhibits the viral RdRp, causing premature termination of RNA transcription and blocking viral replication. |
