Application:
Losartan Potassium is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (AT1) primarily used for the treatment of primary hypertension. Losartan potassium reduces blood pressure by binding to angiotensin II receptors and blocking their effects. It belongs to the class of angiotensin receptor antagonists (ARBs), and compared to angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs), losartan potassium typically has better tolerance and fewer side effects.
